07:00–14:00

A Supportive Role in a Well-Established Care Home
Danygraig Care Home is seeking a reliable and caring Care Assistant to join our day team. This is a full-time position in a well-established home offering a stable rota and a supportive working environment.
Whether you already have experience in care or are looking to develop your skills, we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.
About Danygraig Care Home
Danygraig is a 48-bed residential care home set in a Grade II listed building overlooking the Bristol Channel. We support adults living with dementia and mental health needs, delivering person-centred care in a calm, respectful, and welcoming environment.
The Role
You will support residents with their daily routines and wellbeing, including:
- Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting mobility and independence
- Helping with meals, drinks, and nutrition
- Offering companionship and reassurance
- Observing wellbeing and reporting concerns
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
What We’re Looking For
? A caring, patient, and respectful approach
? Reliability and
good teamwork skills
? Willingness to work a rolling rota
including weekends
? Experience in care is helpful but not
essential
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is
desirable or willingness to work towards it
