Overall Experience
It took my Mum quite a while to settle in Dan y Graig but now she has settled she is so happy. The staff are all great, plenty of time to speak to everyone, residents and relatives.
Like everywhere else in the care service, they could actually do with extra staff, but I can understand staff shortages happen and we have to manage.
The quality of care is lovely and the staff seem to genuinely care for all the residents. And everyone is treated with respect.

I am very happy with the care and companionship that my mother receives.

Mum has been at Dan Y Graig since October 2024, and although her memory is not what it was. I can honestly say she looks healthier now than she did when she was admitted. This, in my view is down to the care and attention of all the staff there who are doing a fantastic job of taking care of her.

I have found this home to be very caring towards residents, there is always a lovely atmosphere with staff always willing to help. At the home, the place is kept very clean and to a high standard. My wife always looks impeccable, as does her room.

Overall Experience

My mother is in her 96th year. A sturdy Dutch-born woman who survived starvation in Rotterdam during WW2. A wonderful woman. Mammy is content in Dan Y Graig. Of course she would like to be in her old home but this is certainly an excellent solution. She is safe, she is cared for and nurtured. The staff are wonderful and Mammy is very grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you Dan Y Graig.
