Danygraig is a beautiful Grade 2 listed building set in 2.5 acres of landscaped Gardens with beautiful views overlooking the Bristol Channel and surrounding areas of Parkland. It is a Residential Care setting specialising in supporting people living with dementia, mental health problems and/or cognitive impairment. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, many with beautiful views of the Parkland. In addition to providing long term care for individuals living with a mental health condition Danygraig also provides respite care. There are 48 bedrooms over four units. There are also safe and secure outdoor areas which people can access on their own a secure decked area through double doors as well as an internal safe garden. Residents can access individual kitchenette facilities, and the home has a hair dressing salon, which a local hairdresser visits multiple days a week and have visiting chiropodist, dentist, optician, and GP who is attached to Porthcawl medical centre.

I have found this home to be very caring towards residents, there is always a lovely atmosphere with staff always willing to help. At the home, the place is kept very clean and to a high standard. My wife always looks impeccable, as does her room.

My mother is in her 96th year. A sturdy Dutch-born woman who survived starvation in Rotterdam during WW2. A wonderful woman. Mammy is content in Dan Y Graig. Of course she would like to be in her old home but this is certainly an excellent solution. She is safe, she is cared for and nurtured. The staff
are wonderful and Mammy is very grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you Dan Y Graig.
