Care Homes Owned by My Choice Healthcare

I visited a friend for the first time at Towy Castle in September and I was thoroughly impressed by the standard of the home and the care received. I've never particularly liked visiting care homes as they can be quite depressing places, but Towy was the opposite. Such a beautiful place, and all the residents appear to genuinely enjoy living there. There's a warm, homely atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly yet professional. I will definitely come back, and hopefully I will be able to catch the dancing activities again! Everyone really got involved and seemed to be having a great time - my friend included - which was so nice to see. The staff appear to have a brilliant rapport with the residents and it felt like one big family. I was particularly impressed with the variety of foods offered on the menu, and the cleanliness of the home, as it looked spotless. I would happily bring a loved one to live here, as I feel it's a place I could trust to deliver the very best care.

Mam settled in well, staff very friendly, always dressed in coordinated clothes. We have a great rapport with all staff and management.

My sister is one of the longest residents and has become safer and happier over time.

It has benefitted her ( and us) when there has been continuity in the staffing esp as I am mostly in NZ and rely on video calls etc. Mary's medical care is very good overall and we think she may outlast us!

The home are caring and my sister feels secure and at home. There is no prospect of her being able to leave and for her this is as good as it gets. They have a good programme of activities.

It is such a relief that Mum is in such a wonderful place that she now calls home.

Since my mother has been hear she has settled in relatively quick. Has a good repore with all staff. They always make sure she is dressed codinatly when possibly. the staff are very flexable with Visiting Hours.

We are very pleased with the care he receives he is very well looked after. The staff give me regular updates and are very supportive always on hand to discuss any issues.

They are from kitchen staff (food very good) managerial posts, nursing, carers and activity staff very good!!

Whilst Ocean Living in Mumbles is a little tired in it's decor - the manager and her staff work tirelessly to provide comfort + understanding to the residents, nothing is too much when the resident or family member make a request - the care home - whilst is not modern - but it is comfortable, clean and functionable - the manager and her staff are friendly and caring. They provide good well cooked food and snacks to residents. The atmosphere is one of calm - which indicate that the residents are happy + contented

Our relative is now receiving the level of care he deserves.

Wayne is also happy. Staff always helpful, caring and always happy to chat with you.

We are Jack only grandparents remaing and visit him twice weekly he has settled in very well at the home and we are very pleased with him and the home.

My father has asked that I tell you he is very happy with the staff and the home. He feels a lot happier since he's been in the home knowing someone is always there for him as at home he was alone with family always a phone call away for any help. He thinks the staff are marvellous, kind & very careing towards him. He's also put on weight as he's now having proper meals again. He says its the best thing to happen to him in a very long time, moving into Glyncornel.

Putting Andrea into a care facility was everything I was against. I felt like I'd failed her and my mam, who I promised to keep Andrea with me. It's been a hard choice, and I am still adapting, but hand on heart I can say when I leave or phone/visit, I am so content and now starting to realise I have done the best thing and given my sister a quality of life surrounded by mother figures who really do care for her.

The home and grounds are very clean. Highly recommended.

My friend Jack has been a resident for a while now and all of the staff members are great with him. I've met Matt today who was especially really good with Jack. Since jacks been with you guys he goes out a lot more on day trips and to the shops etc which I think is great for Jack. Thanks to everyone for all of their help.

My dad moved into Alexandra House two months ago, and he is thriving due to the exceptional care given. My family are overjoyed and couldn't be more assured that Dad is safe, happy and cared for to such a high standard. Thank you. Alexandra House is beautifully clean and maintained and has a proper homely feel.

When my wife and I decided to find placement for our son it took about two years before we found Luk Ros. It was what we were looking for a home from home, we are very pleased with the staff we find them very caring and considerate, we are always made welcome and offered tea or coffee when we arrive and they are always smiling our son is very happy and enjoys our vists especially the chocolate and coffee that we bring. Now that my wife is no longer with us i have taken on this responsibility and try to see my son every saturday afternoon for a few hours
