I am not a blood relation to Wayne, but his mother and I had been best friends since we were 15 and me 16 so I have known Wayne al his life, my husband Howard and myself started to take Wayne out every Monday since his mother Annette has died, we both care and love Wayne very much and hope to continue to do so in the future. Wayne is loved by all the ladies in Springfield they make sure individually he is loved and looked after, Wayne loves living there

Overall Experience

Putting Andrea into a care facility was everything I was against. I felt like I'd failed her and my mam, who I promised to keep Andrea with me. It's been a hard choice, and I am still adapting, but hand on heart I can say when I leave or phone/visit, I am so content and now starting to realise I have done the best thing and given my sister a quality of life surrounded by mother figures who really do care for her.

Overall Experience

When my wife and I decided to find placement for our son it took about two years before we found Luk Ros. It was what we were looking for a home from home, we are very pleased with the staff we find them very caring and considerate, we are always made welcome and offered tea or coffee when we arrive and they are always smiling our son is very happy and enjoys our vists especially the chocolate and coffee that we bring. Now that my wife is no longer with us i have taken on this responsibility and try to see my son every saturday afternoon for a few hours

Overall the care standard is excellent, staff are always caring and helpful
My only issues are around the poor maintenance of the outside garden area, the main grassed area is inaccessible for residents & visitors, poor outside seating.

Also some of the main communal rooms need to be updated and redecorating through out
