She then went on to manage a dedicated stroke ward for four years, leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting patients through long-term recovery.

She has since continued to develop her skills and leadership within this field, bringing a compassionate, person-centred approach to both residents and staff. Dotty has over 35 years of experience working in the care sector, as a nurse and also in management. She has worked at Glyncornel for over 2 years as a nurse. Working with every resident with their own unique plan of care.
