Job Title: Joint Registered Manager
Joanne has worked in social care for the past 38 years. Working her way up from a carer to a Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care. Her areas of responsibility are medication management, IPC, rotas and staff wellbeing. She has been in the management role at Alexandra House for the last 9 years, but has worked at the home for 13 years, overseeing many changes and developments. She has progressed in her career at Alexandra House, which has allowed her to now be in a managerial role, which she sees as a privilege.?
She has lived in Ludlow all of her life and raised four children. Her interests are family, reading and socialising with family and friends. She is excited about the plans for the future at Alexandra House and is looking forward to playing a part in these.
Job Title: Joint Registered Manager
Abigail has worked in Social Care for 20 years, gaining a passion for training and development. She completed the TAQA Assessor qualification in 2015 and has delivered RQF Level 2, 3 and 4 Diplomas in Adult Social Care at Alexandra House, whilst attending regular Standardisation meetings to maintain knowledge and support delivery. She believes in training and development that exceeds mandatory requirements as it enables a positive and ambitious workforce, staff retention and a high level of quality care.
Her Level 3 Training and Education qualification has championed a robust induction process and the delivery of The Care Certificate for all new employees. Following on from this, she completed her RQF Level 5 in Leading and Managing in Adult Care, progressing her into a managerial role.
She has three children and enjoys spending time with her family
