Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Permanent | Part-Time
Hours: 18 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 16:30

Danygraig Care Home is looking for an enthusiastic, creative Activities Coordinator who can bring energy, positivity, and companionship to our residents. About Danygraig

Situated in a stunning Grade II listed building overlooking the sea, Danygraig is a 48-bed residential home that supports adults living with dementia and mental health needs. Our home is vibrant and friendly, with a strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and community.

What You’ll Do

In this varied and people-focused role, you will:

• Plan and deliver activity sessions that are fun, stimulating, and person-centred
• Offer a mix of group events, 1:1 activities, and sensory-based sessions
• Encourage residents to join in, helping build confidence and enjoyment
• Support celebrations, themed days, and seasonal events
• Keep residents connected with family and the wider community
• Record attendance and gather feedback
• Help create a warm, uplifting atmosphere across the home

What We’re Looking For

? A friendly, outgoing, and imaginative personality
? Ability to motivate, encourage, and engage residents
? Confident in organising sessions and adapting activities when needed
? Experience in activities, care, or a similar role (preferred)
? Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing
? Comfortable supporting individuals living with dementia or mental health needs
