Registered Care Home Manager
21 bedded residential care home

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead a 21 bedded residential care home providing high quality care for older people, including those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who is proactive, organised, and genuinely cares about delivering kind, safe, and personalised care. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the home, supporting your team, and creating a warm and positive environment where residents feel respected and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the care home, ensuring consistently high standards of care and support
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans that meet each resident’s individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care
  • Lead, support, and supervise care staff, providing clear guidance, training, and ongoing development
  • Ensure safe and accurate medication management in line with legal and organisational requirements
  • Work closely with families, GPs, community teams, and other professionals to provide joined up care
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant health and social care legislation
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, and resources to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
  • Promote a positive, open, and supportive culture for both residents and staff

About You

  • You have experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior leadership role within a residential care setting
  • You have a strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care
  • You are organised, proactive, and confident in managing a care home
  • You have excellent communication skills and can build trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • You lead by example and know how to motivate and support a team
  • You have a caring and compassionate approach, balanced with clear leadership
  • A relevant qualification in health and social care or management is highly desirable

Salary : £36,000-£45,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)
