What You’ll Bring
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with guided development for those keen to achieve Level 3
- Proven experience in a care setting, with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
- Confidence in supporting staff to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt
- Calm, empathetic approach, building trust with residents, families and colleagues
- Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in care and documentation
About the Role
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coordinate and guide the care team to deliver exceptional support to residents each day. You’ll oversee handovers, allocate staff effectively and ensure each resident’s needs are met with dignity, respect and consistency.
You’ll mentor and supervise carers, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to provide the highest standard of care. You’ll lead by example—auditing care plans, managing medication safely, welcoming new residents and communicating effectively with families, GPs and multi-disciplinary professionals.
