Job summary

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Supporting residents at mealtimes
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Promoting dignity, respect, and choice at all times
- Recording and reporting any changes in residents’ wellbeing
- Working in line with care plans, policies, and CQC standards
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and respectful nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and flexibility (including weekends and bank holidays)
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans
Experience
- Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not required
