About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Supporting residents at mealtimes
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Promoting dignity, respect, and choice at all times
• Recording and reporting any changes in residents’ wellbeing
• Working in line with care plans, policies, and CQC standards

What We’re Looking For

• A caring, patient, and respectful nature
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and flexibility (including weekends and bank holidays)
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans

Experience

• Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not required
