Job summary
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Bank Nurses to join our nursing team, providing high-quality care and clinical support to residents in a warm and supportive care home environment.
The Role
As a Bank Nurse, you will work flexibly to support the nursing team, delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with residents’ individual needs and care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering medications safely and accurately
- Managing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments
- Leading and supporting care staff on shift
- Monitoring residents’ physical and mental health
- Liaising with GPs, families, and external professionals
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures
- Responding appropriately to emergencies and safeguarding concerns
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse RGN with a valid NMC PIN
- Experience working in a care home or similar setting (desirable)
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Flexible availability to cover sickness, holidays, and busy periods
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
