Joining us at Upton Manor, our luxury care home that
provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people,
you'll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health
and well-being of our residents.
Our Housekeeping team ensure
the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout
the home and contribute to the provision of cleaning, laundry and
domestic services to the home.

What you'll be doing
- You’ll help to create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to delivering quality care and support. Leading a team of housekeeping staff you’ll ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards
- Ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms
- Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings
- Managing staff rota, training and supervisions to ensure housekeeping team members are working efficiently.
- Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease
- Working closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations

About You:
- Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting
- Flexible and reliable attitude
- Committed to customer care and first-class service provision
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast-paced environment
