I am very happy with the care at Upton Manor. I chose this care home as I had heard about it through friends that have used it for their loved ones. I put my parents in Upton Manor for four weeks rest bite care with the idea of them staying for good. Unfortunately my father passed away after just six
weeks there. However the staff were very attentive and looked after my Mum and myself during this difficult time. Mum has settled into a new lifestyle at Upton Manor and she is happy in her new home.

Dad moved here from another local care home in February and has been welcomed by all the staff at Upton Manor and the care provided is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Upton Manor. The staff have a very professional approach to care and Dad has settled in well.

My elderly loved one recently came to Upton Manor for respite and even though she was nervous (as never left home in 85 years) the staff could not have been better. The management were excellent and accommodating every request from my loved one and from all the family visits. From the room and accommodation
to the welcome, to all the support and kindness we experienced during our 5 weeks, we couldn't be happier. A 5 star experience.

In February we had to make the difficult decision to move Dad from a care home, where he'd spent the previous 18 months, to a nursing home, due to the change in his needs.
From the moment we stepped through the doors at Upton Manor we were treated with the utmost dignity and understanding of our
situation, which made the transition from one home to another so much easier than we ever imagined. In a very short time Dad was like a completely different person and so much more relaxed and happy than he'd been in a long while, giving us as a family real peace of mind about the decision to move him.
All of the staff, nursing, carers, caterers, cleaners and management team have provided excellent care and treatment and helped dad to settle quickly and feel at home. We have seen a dramatic improvement in both his physical health and his general well being in the first 3 months of him moving in.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Upton Manor to others.

My friend had recently moved into Upton Manor and she can not stop talking about how wonderful everyone has been to her, you can genuinely see the smile in her face each time we see her. She absolutely loves getting stuck in and joins the activities and events, they always have something going on, she
has formed many new friends and says everyone she has met so far has been loving and kind to her.
The home is always clean, warm, and full of laughter, and we know the staff are always a phone call away if we ever need an update or have a concern.
One of the things that truly sets Upton apart is the incredible range of activities they offer
There's always something happening. The activity person is outstanding she really does go out of the way and I know my very dear friend is truly happy and loves everything that happens a huge credit to the home. To have these teams in home they make all the difference.
She really is happy and Upton is how you want a care home to be.

From the moment you walk into Upton Manor you are made to feel very welcome. All staff are friendly and chatty and nothing is to much trouble for them to help and support the residents. A variety of daily activities are to be enjoyed I feel its an excellent choice of care home.

My father was made to feel welcome and comfortable from the first day.
The staff are friendly and efficient.
The quality of food provided is very high , and the opportunity exists to eat privately or in the dining room.
Queries made to staff members are answered quickly by care workers and management.

A safe comfortable environment for Mum following a stroke and dementia, caring team who look after her well with dignity. She is happy and stimulated with activities. The home is well kept and a happy environment. Nothing is too much trouble and the catering is hotel standard! It is great that they
are dog-friendly as she can still see her dog on visits.

Mum came to you after a fall and a short spell in hospital, originally for respite. She was made to feel very welcome and safe with the level of care in place. Your staff are very friendly and give the care home a 'family feel'. It has been a great comfort to Mum that her dog (along with ours) can visit

Mum started living in the care home in May and since then we have not had a moment's worry. The staff are really friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. They have numerous activities and encourage all residents to join in with encouragement and support. My mum is just so very happy.

This is a beautiful clean luxury care home with caring staff, it offers a homely feeling for residents and even has a therapy dog.
It has well kept gardens and also has a great choice of quality food.

My health and abilities to cope deteriorated following my wife's passing away on 15 January this year, whilst a dementure patient in Upton Manor. I suffered a series of falls, accompanied by giddy spells and ended up in hospital for almost 2 months. My GP suggested respite care and as I was familiar
with
Upton Manor I opted to go there for a month which became almost 2 months.
The stay was a godsend, meeting up with a number of residents, patients and particularly carers whom I had met previously whilst my wife was resident for 15 months from October 2023 until she sadly died, having received such wonderful care and attention during her time there.
I enjoyed every minute of the near 2 months, lovely en-suite room, good food and a glass of wine, paper delivered with nothing being too much trouble.
I went home in June, with carers coming twice a day, 7.00 am and 5.30 pm and I am currently extremely happy, due in my opinion to the respite care period that helped prepare me for the big outside world!

Mum has been a resident for just over a year. The home is a wonderful, friendly place with plenty of activities laid on for the residents to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and light with lovely views over well-kept gardens. Vsutung days are very welcome, which is great as Mum can still have her god visit
her. There are fantastic entertainers who regularly visit to play music, magicians, balloon creations, and a variety of animals that the president can handle and stoke. It's like one big family, and we are so pleased we found this care home for our mum.
