Job summary
Beachlands Care Home Seaford is looking for a Housekeeper for our Residential Care Home who has empathy, respect and is willing to engage with elderly residents and to work as a team player. . We are looking for someone to work 24hrs (Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday) 8am to 2pm:
DUTIES:
- Maintining a high standaard of cleanliness in both private and communal areas
- Ensuring all equipment used us well maintained and cleaned after use
- Disposing of rubbish on a daily basis in a safe and environmentally acceptable way
- Ensuring the safe usage and storage of products use in the cleaning process
- Reporting any defective equipment to the Home Manager
- Working within Health & Safety requirements regarding the use of equipment, warning of hazards etc
Skills / Qualifications:
- 1. Having an awareness of COSHH regulations and working within its boundaries
- 2. Enhanced DBS
