We currently have a vacancy in our Residential Care Home Clarendon Grange situated in Great Clifton, Workington.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. (a) Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, etc. to the required
standard.
(b) Cleaning the public areas at predetermined times,
when those areas contain few or no residents.
2. Equipping the
domestic’s trolley with adequate supplies and keeping it neat and
tidy.
3. Using the cleaning materials correctly and
carefully.
4. Carefully handling and maintaining
equipment.
5. Reporting maintenance defects and safety
hazards.
6. The prompt reporting of lost and found property to
the Housekeeper.
7. Being helpful and polite to the
residents.
8. Maintaining personal hygiene and appearance.
9. Following the security procedure.
10. Special cleaning jobs
as assigned by the Housekeeper.
11. Attending training sessions,
as and when required.
12. Following Health & Safety at Work,
Hygiene and Fire precautions.
13. To carry out all other duties
at designated by the Housekeeper/Matron.
14. To carry out the
domestic duties as per the rota.
15. Relief cooking.
