Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Activities Coordinator to join our award-winning team at Marula Lodge. We care to 42 residents across four units, supporting those with varying complex care. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. The role is to work with the residents and staff to ensure that they have a meaningful life and access to activities that they enjoy.

  • Experience in a Care Home setting (desirable)
  • A caring, calm and compassionate nature
  • Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
  • A genuine interest in helping others live full, dignified lives
  • Great communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • A positive team-focused attitude

What hours will you work?

Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14-day working pattern.
Shift times: 08:00 - 19:15
 
Total average of 42 hours worked per week, including every other weekend.
What will you be doing?

  • Plan, organise and coordinate activities for residents according to their needs, interests and abilities
  • Supporting our residents and encouraging them to partake in activities
  • Keeping appropriate records of activities and assessment forms
  • Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
  • Working within agreed activities budget
