Job summary
Some people plan events. You create moments that become memories.
We’re looking for a brilliant, heart-led Events Coordinator to bring joy, connection, and everyday magic to life at Connaught Care—a luxury, all-inclusive care home group redefining what later life can look and feel like.
With six stunning homes already open and six more in development across the South of England, Connaught Care blends exceptional care with elegant, hospitality-led living. Our mission is simple: to help every resident (and every team member) Live a Life More Extraordinary.
This role isn’t about filling calendars—it’s about creating meaning. Whether it's a quiet poetry reading, a vibrant birthday celebration, or a themed afternoon that makes someone’s week, you’ll be at the heart of our homes’ spirit and energy.
-
Design, plan and deliver a wide range of enriching events, from daily activities to larger community celebrations
-
Create personalised experiences tailored to residents’ preferences, hobbies, and life stories
-
Work closely with residents, families, and care teams to ensure every event is inclusive, thoughtful, and meaningful
-
Support links with local groups, schools, entertainers and volunteers to bring the community into the home
-
Working with the Events Manager to manage budgets, calendars, and promotional materials with creativity and care
-
Track engagement and feedback to continually improve and innovate our events programme
Why Connaught?
Because here, service isn’t scripted—it’s sincere. We believe the bistro should feel more like a boutique cafe? or restaurant than a facility. As a Bistro Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating that experience, day after day.
You’ll work in a beautiful environment with a supportive team, regular hours (no late nights!), and the joy of knowing your service truly matters. You'll also be part of a culture that supports you to Live a Life More Extraordinary, just like our residents.
If you believe great hospitality is about kindness, attention, and a little bit of sparkle—we’d love to hear from you.
