The care home
Merse House is a 32-bed care home based in Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland, providing specialist residential care to older people and people living with dementia. Overlooking the River Dee it is close to many areas of outstanding beauty.
Key Responsibilities:
· Providing personal care, such as showering, shaving, oral hygiene and dressing
· Administering medication
· Monitoring health and well-being
· Maintaining records and reporting any changes
· Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks.
· Providing emotional support and companionship.
· Helping with everyday life care, such as mobility and mealtimes.
· Supporting people with social and physical activities.
