Clinical Head of Care

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Head of Care to lead and develop our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of clinical care within our nursing home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff

• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards

• Oversee clinical governance, audits, and quality assurance processes

• Maintain compliance with medication management, infection control, and safeguarding policies

• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures

• Support staff training, supervision, and professional development

• Liaise with GPs, community services, families, and external professionals

• Manage incidents, complaints, and regulatory inspections

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting

About You:

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with a valid UK PIN

• Proven experience in a senior nursing or leadership role

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care

• Ability to motivate and develop staff teams
