Job summary
Eden Manor is a luxury purpose-built care home facility providing
care for up to 80 residents, the home is designed for people requiring
Residential, Dementia and End of Life care. Situated in a quiet
residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the
home provides residents with a peaceful environment, the home is
surround by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park. The home
offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and
comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated teams are hand
selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the
resident’s individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional
level of care, Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has
had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022. The home proudly embodies

environment where residents feel valued and supported. Eden Manor has
a dedicated activities and well-being team who cover a 7 day period to
provide engagement and socialisation to all who live in the home and
the local community. The home reflects the Lovett Care vision of

activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and
wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for
their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing

Due to an internal promotion we have an amazing and exciting
opportunity that has arisen were we are currently seeking to appoint a
kind, motivated and experienced Registered Home Manager. You will
efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the care home, allocate
resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality care to
residents. As the Home Manager you will report directly to the
Regional Manager and have a support from our Regional team and you
will be responsible for a team of staff dedicated to delivering
exceptional care. We are looking for a Manager who shares our Lovett
Care vision and values. This is a full time post with an excellent
salary of £70k per annum with fabulous company benefits including bonuses.?
Role Responsibilities:
To ensure that the company policies and procedures are adhered
to by all staff within the care home.
Manage the safety, quality
and financial aspects of the care home Coordinate the activities of
all care and nursing staff during the shift on the Community.
To
take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home.
Ensure that the care home team provide high quality and person centred
care and support to residents and their families.
Build
relationships with both internal & external key
stakeholders.
To demonstrate leadership of the staff team and
act as a positive role model, by a high level of personal visibility
within all communities in the home.
Promote the care home in the
wider community both locally and nationally.
To ensure
compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
Any other
duties commensurate with grade.
Skills and Experience required:
Minimum of 5 year’s management experience in the care
industry.
Broad experience of managing people, service and
quality to achieve performance targets.
Excellent time
management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own
initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting
relationships
Commissioning Home Manager experience is
preferable
