We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a cook in
the Grange. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of
our care services and ensuring residents receive exceptional support.
Based at our care facility, you will contribute to creating a warm and
welcoming environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure food safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Support the team in meal planning and preparation.
- Assist with serving meals to residents in a respectful manner.
- Collaborate with staff to uphold high-quality care standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently.
- Must be willing to cover annual leave when needed
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation or culinary roles within healthcare or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to residents’ needs.
- Prior experience in a care home or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
