Senior Care Assistant – Join Our Compassionate Team!

Location: The Manor Residential Home
Pay: £12.75 per hour (rising to £13.25 after in-house training)
Hours: Full-time – 34 hours per week
Reports to: Care Home Manager

Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant with a passion for leading by example? Do you take pride in delivering exceptional care while supporting and motivating your team?

At The Manor Residential Home, we’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Senior Care Assistant to help oversee care delivery, support staff, and ensure our residents receive the dignity and respect they deserve every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise care and domestic teams during shifts
  • Monitor residents’ well-being and ensure care plans are followed
  • Administer and record medication accurately using EMAR
  • Collaborate with GPs, District Nurses, and other professionals
  • Respond confidently to emergencies, including falls or injuries, and complete relevant documentation
  • Provide hands-on personal care when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in a care setting
  • Preferred: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Proven experience administering medication
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable using digital care records and medication systems

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 Year Senior Carer Experience/Medication Administration.
