The Manor Residential Home is a totally independent provider of residential care for up to 27 older people. This allows an individual approach to running the care home that can respond quickly to anyone’s individual circumstances and needs. They pride themselves on providing a person-centred approach to meet the individual needs of each of their residents to the best of their ability.

The Manor aims to provide an exceptionally high standard of care in a well-maintained homely environment. They listen carefully to the wishes of residents, and their families, and will go that ‘extra mile’ to achieve these wherever possible.

The experienced management team is highly visible and approachable to discuss any issues. They are keen to hear about people’s experiences to know what they are doing well and where any improvements can be made. They know that to maintain high standards, they need to continually be looking for ways to improve and change according to the times. The owner is actively involved in supporting the management and staff to provide a high quality service.

The home supports its hard-working dedicated staff with the latest technology including electronic care planning, electronic medication management and security systems.

I came for respite after an operation for my hip. I have found on all aspects the experience to be excellent. It's fantastic. I had a very nice time. I wasn't very well and they looked after me perfectly.

The Manor is a very good care home and the staff are so professional in everything they do and are so obliging with what is requited. I am so happy that my mother-in-law is in The Manor. Like everyone looking for a care home for a loved one, the trust that you are wanting, along with the care provided is a massive anxiety.
From day one we were put at ease, Mum was greeted with kind words and reassurance. As a family we too were considered and our emotions were not ignored. We continue
to have faith in the care, the dignity and on the ball actions that are delivered with respect for both Mum and our family.

My father is a resident at the home, since his arrival earlier this year. I have had no complaints. The staff are marvellous, very approachable and can't do enough to make my father's time there very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff.

My husband was a resident for 18 months before he passed away. He was very happy there and had a very high standard of care by all the care staff and management staff. The Manor was and is very welcoming of visitors. I still my husband's best friend in the Manor on my recommendation for his stay there.

I was very very impressed with the review that took place yesterday, concerning my father and his end-of-life care. Management was so respectful of our wishes at this sad time.
The overall meeting was not rushed and she took the time to discuss and reassure us how comfortable they would make Dad and
we cannot fault the treatment he is receiving in his end-of-life care.

Management and staff exhibit unfailing enthusiasm for their jobs and are very caring and compassionate not only to all the residents but to visitors too. We are going through a particularly stressful time with Dad's health and staff couldn't be more helpful and supportive. Any queries or issues we have
are dealt with expediently which gives us the confidence that we have chosen the best possible care home for Dad. We can't thank them enough for all their hard work, patience and diligence in such a difficult job.

A huge thank you to all the team for your continued hard work. Dad is treated with respect and dignity. He is always washed and dressed with a drink in front of him when visiting at several different time frames. Dad has Alzheimer's and can be difficult. The team are very helpful and understanding,
allowing him to be himself. Thank you for your continued care.

Very welcoming and friendly staff who really do take care of my grandmother, they are very understanding and able to take care of her needs in a very quick and dignified manner. They have really made the whole process a lot easier for our family to feel like my grandma is being looked after.

My mother was very reluctant to enter a care home but she quickly settled in thanks to the caring staff and being part of The Manor family. The staff were extremely caring supportive and respectful. As her cancer progressed she required a great deal of care and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate
her needs. Sadly she passed away and we were extremely grateful to see 5 of the staff attend her funeral. I would not hesitate to recommend Manor Residential Care to anyone in need of care for their loved ones, the personal touch provided means a great deal.

Mum was only in the home for a short while but was very happy and was welcomed with open arms. She enjoyed the company and was enamored with all of the staff who treated her exceptionally well. As her cancer developed Mum needed a lot of care and this was given with a pleasant smile and a great sense
of humor whilst not losing any sense of dignity. I cannot recommend the home highly enough and would like to thank the staff for their care and commitment to Mum's needs.
