Job summary

As Facilities Manager your core purpose will include:

Responsibility for leading and managing a dedicated and passionate team: You will lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals to deliver a luxury family experience to our residents. You will work with the Nursing Home Manager to recruit, train, and support the heads of department to achieve both their individual and company goals. Departments you will be responsible for include Maintenance, Painting and Decorating and Gardening.

To ensure delivery of a luxury service standard: Reporting to the Nursing Home Manager you will oversee the day to day operation of guest services of the home, ensuring delivery of the highest standards, and achieving exceptional resident experiences in all departments. With excellent problem solving skills, you will manage your Teams to deliver excellent support to the Care Teams.

Supporting the Nursing Home Manager in managing a strategic and customer focused business: You will be responsible for strategically steering the Home’s ancillary operations and ensuring effective management to drive standards and success. You will oversee performance targets, devise and monitor departmental standards whilst ensuring maximum team involvement and buy in.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous progressive experience within a 4- and 5-star operation in the luxury lifestyle sector, operating luxury Hotels or Care Homes.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving resident/guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage a variety of Teams to deliver exceptional services to residents/guests.
  • Ability to manage and monitor the performance of Maintenance, Painting and Decorating and Gardening Teams.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm or 9am to 5.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.
