The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. Kensington are looking to appoint a Care Assistants Full and Part Time. This will include some weekend working

We have oppurtunities for both day and night staff. 

Must be able to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and movement, ensuring safety at all times
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
  • Follow individual care plans to deliver personalised care tailored to each client’s needs
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Document care activities accurately using IT systems and care records
  • Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining independence where possible
  • Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when necessary (driving skills preferred)
  • Uphold health and safety standards in line with organisational policies

Experience

  • Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
