Job summary
Villa Maria Private Nursing Home are looking for a Bank cook to work in our lovely home. We cater for people with learning disabilities and those who require nursing or dementia care.
Villa Maria is a friendly, family-oriented care home, and we have been here for over 50 years, operating as a Nursing home. The position is for bank shifts only and covers annual leave in the absence of the head chef. Must have experience in catering.
Skills / Qualifications:
- To ensure food is prepared an cooked to a high standard
- To ensure the cooking and serving of the meal are in line with the menu
- To ensure compliance with the Food Safety Standards
- To ensure that the system safety checks are completed
- To ensure the the IDDSI guidelines are followed at all times
- To ensure food is well presented and taste good.
- NVQ level 2 in food and hygiene
- Level 2 Food Safety in Catering will be preferable.
