Villa Maria Nursing home provided a caring safe environment for my relative. All staff showed a high level of respect to my Aunt. Good humour to help her wellbeing and care and attention for personal care and meal times. VM always warmly welcomed me during my visits. Birthdays and special occasions
for my Aunt were made special days for her at VM, especially when she celebrated her 90th birthday last year. Thank you to all Staff.

Very friendly staff working here, who are always very happy to help Mum in any way she needs. I believe my Mum is very well cared for throughout the day and night. She has settled easily into the care home routine and I would even say her state of mind is much more stable, and her health is good.
I am very impressed with Villa Maria Nursing Home.

I have found that Villa Maria has recently improved to become an exceptional nursing home. My mother now receives outstanding care from the dedicated new management, lead nurses, and long serving carers. This staff is attentive, professional, and truly caring. I'm so grateful for their kindness

This is very too faced this place they will talk about you to social services and arrange to give your loved one extra medication without telling you we will now have a legal battle to keep him in this care home which will probably drag on for several years I I help many people and never ask nothing
in return not one penny but these people only care about one your money avoid this care home. I thought they were great but should have known better as I've helped families before and we'll continue to do so.

My brother had been at the care home for over a year and feels safe and secure. The staff are always friendly and supportive and the home is very clean. My mother and I have also experienced some of the entertainment, which we found very enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone.

My brother has only been at Villa Maria a short time but I have found the staff very approachable and answered all my questions with regard to his care plan. All staff are pleasant to deal with and polite.

Although my father wasn't at Villa Maria very long, I was so happy with the care he received, every day I came in and every day he was in fresh bed linen. Everyone referred to him by name, a small thing but I think important. When admitted the staff wanted to know as much as possible to make his stay
as comfortable as possible, such as favourite foods and drinks. And when he passed away all staff showed genuine care for him and us as we grieved.

I have my younger brother as a resident at Villa Maria South Croydon. I found the home and staff to be very professional, caring, polite and sympathetic. I feel my brother's needs are being met to a very high standard. This has been a great relief to all our family. Thank you.

My husband was here for twelve years after a stroke which left him speechless and with no movement on one side. Sadly, he passed away in January. The staff were lovely to me and my daughter, some coming to the funeral and wake. I always found staff to be very good, very patient in working out what he
wanted as he couldn't use a computer and only had one hand and facial expressions by which to communicate. He always looked neat and tidy. He was happy there. Activities take place each week and concerts occasionally. In the warmer weather, there is access to the garden. I always felt very welcome and included in his care arrangements as did other family members. Even now, the home keeps in touch with me which I appreciate as over the years it had become my second home.

My mum has had respite in Villa Maria Nursing Home a couple of times now. It's the best care home my mum has been to for her respite.
The staff go over and above for all the residents. They do their daily jobs as well as entertain the residents daily with all sorts of activities.
The manager is lovely
and does as much as she can to ensure all residents are happy and cared for. The standards are very high. They care for each one of their residents whether they are there permanently or just for respite.
As soon as you walk in, there is a happy atmosphere, also it is very clean.
My mum is on level 5 with food. They made sure all my mum's needs regarding eating and drinking were met.
My mum didn't feed herself when she went in, with their help and encouragement, when my Mum came home she was feeding herself.
Now, when my mum has respite, I ask for Villa Maria due to the excellent care they give everyone in there.

The staff are professional, friendly and well conversed with knowledge.
The staff, the care manager and the receptionist are so amazing and true to the cause of caring for your loved one. They are on hand at any time of the day to help you with any concerns you may have regarding your loved one.
My
mum is always clean, tidy and well cared for. Her bedding is always clean, along with her room and surroundings.
Overall, a very safe, welcoming environment for your loved one to be placed in. A jewel in a crown amongst a crowded profession.
I'm really proud to write this review on behalf of Villa Maria Nursing Home as it has come from my heart, it is been a really difficult time for our loved one and family members but Villa Maria has helped us through this difficult process.

The staff at Villa Maria Nursing Home are so kind and caring. They treat their residents like family.
My grandmother was very comfortable during her stay at Villa Maria and she liked all the staff members. She always looked clean and well cared for. She was repositioned regularly and assisted with
her meals and medication. During self care the door was always closed to maintain my Grandma's privacy. The staff members were so friendly and accommodating. They were always smiling, laughing and joking around with my Grandma.
My family never had any fears or concerns about mistreatment. We were always made to feel welcome.
The room was spacious and warm. The main door has a security lock so intruders couldn't enter the building.
There were activities in the lounge area though unfortunately my Grandma was unable to attend for medical reasons.
I would recommend Villa Maria to anyone who has a loved one in need of extra care and support. Such a warm loving environment.

I’m happy to a degree, I think they are short of staff but the staff that are there try their very best to provide the care that’s necessary so I’m truly grateful. It’s always very clean and they liaise with me very well which is very important.
