Hours: 20.25 hours per week, nights (working on a rolling rota)

Saint Paul’s Nursing Home is home to female members of the Sisters of Charity of St Paul the Apostle and managed by Saint John of God Hospitaller Services. 

Candidates must be Registered Nurse qualified and would be based at St Paul’s Nursing Home which is situated in the Selly Park area of Birmingham. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading shifts and supervising the staff team who support the Sisters in such a way that the religious ethos of the community is promoted.

Essential Criteria:

  • Display values of hospitality, compassion, respect, justice and trust
  • Registered Nurse – 1st Level Registration - Current NMC Registration
  • Evidence of an on going commitment to continuous professional development
  • Be a strong leader and communicator and work collaboratively with members of the religious community, senior management and staff team
  • Be conversant with CQC standards and regulations, Safeguarding of vulnerable adults and Health & Safety standards and procedures
  • Manage and assess progress of internal protocols and personalised care plans
  • Undertake supervision, training and development of staff
  • Have experience of the medication procedure in nursing homes
  • Be flexible to undertake night and day shifts
