About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Abbey House, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. You will provide high-quality person-centred care while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming

• Supporting with mobility and safe transfers

• Helping with meals and hydration

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Maintaining accurate care records

• Working closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ensuring residents’ dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times

What We’re Looking For

• A caring and compassionate nature

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability and a positive attitude

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
