The care home

Eccleston Court is a purpose built 54 bedded care home which provides specialist nursing care to older people and people living with dementia, situated in a quiet leafy residential area opposite a beautiful park in Eccleston, St Helens.

Eccleston Court is a warm, welcoming and friendly home providing general nursing care and nursing care for people living with dementia.

All our bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with en-suite facilities. We encourage residents to personalise their room with small items to make it more homely. Our home has wonderful spaces to relax in and enjoy company, including an activities room, hairdressing area, large lounge areas and dining rooms as well as some quite areas for residents to relax with family and friends.

We have an accessible garden for our residents to enjoy relaxation and outdoor activities. Our home is also adjacent to a lovely park and gardens – very popular for gentle walks.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

·  Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for residents.

·  Deliver safe and effective nursing interventions in line with best practice.

·  Monitor residents’ physical and mental health conditions.

·  Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

·  Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

Medication Management

·  Administer medications safely in accordance with policies and professional standards.

·  Monitor for side effects and effectiveness of treatments.

·  Ensure proper storage and documentation of medications.

Resident Wellbeing

·  Promote dignity, privacy, and respect always.

·  Support residents with complex needs, including dementia, palliative, or end-of-life care.

·  Encourage independence and social engagement.
