I was worried about my mum going in to a care home put My mum as fitted in well at the nursing home.

The staff make you feel welcome and they always take time to say hi and check that anything is well with mum.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We understand how difficult the decision to move a loved one into a care home can be, so we're delighted to hear that your mum has settled in so well. It means a great deal to know that our team has made you feel welcome and has been there to support both you and your mum. Thank you for your kind words-they will be shared with the team.

Both my Father- in- law and Mother- in -law have been (still are) residents at Eccleston Court. The home is very well run and I have always felt that my family are safe, well cared for and happy here. The big difference between Eccleston Court and other homes we tried is the atmosphere of calm that pervades the building. Managers and staff, care for residents with care, dignity and calm. This helps residents to feel relaxed and cope better with, what can be, challenging symptoms and experiences. As soon as you walk in you will see cleaning staff speaking to residents and visitors like old friends. The care staff and nurses go out of their way to tailor care to each person's needs. They speak to residents in a friendly, calm tone which must be comforting when away from your own home. The managers are constantly trying new activities/ themed events to enhance the experience for residents and are always available if you need to discuss your loved one. I know my family are in safe hands.

The staff here are marvellous. They all know my Mum well and treat her with kindness, care and dignity at all times. Mum has lived here for over two years and our family has always felt welcome; plus well- informed and consulted about Mum's care. Facilities and systems are constantly reviewed and improved and families invited to suggest improvements at meetings with the manager.

It is difficult when a loved one needs residential care. All the staff, cleaners, caterers, nurses, carers and managers at Eccleston Court go out of their way to meet the needs of my Mum, every day. There is a family atmosphere and I feel confident Mum could not be in a better place.

Mum came to Eccleston Court initially for respite after a fall at home. Mum had terminal cancer and was known to be in the last months of life. From the moment we arrived at the care home Mum was welcomed warmly by all members of staff. The cleaners, carers, cooks, activity coordinator, administrator, nurses and managers were always kind & courteous.
Mum was always treated in a kind and dignified manner. The activity coordinator came into her room daily if she didn't feel up to mixing she provided resources to keep her entertained in her room.
The food was good and varied & drinks/ snacks were provided regularly.
The carers were kind & provided dignified care, were always cheerful & polite.
The nurses were professional & skilled at managing mums diabetes & provided outstanding EOL care. Mum died peacefully surrounded by her family. We will be forever grateful for the care she received in Eccleston Court.

Elena is an excellent manager that genuinely cares about the residents.

Eccleston Court was recommended to us for respite care by the hospital for my mother in law. We were very nervous about her going into care, however the transfer was arranged for later that day. To alleviate our concerns we decide to do an impromptu site inspection.
We arrived and the home was in the middle of getting ready for the residents Xmas party later that day so our timing wasn't great. However, we were welcomed by Julie on reception and then by Elena the manager. She took the time to show us round all areas front and back of house and to answer any questions or concerns that my wife had.

My MIL settled in very quickly despite arriving mid Xmas party. The maint man touched the room up beforehand. Joanne, Cody, Kara & all the team provided the best care, comfort & dignity in her last few weeks of life for which we are very grateful. Elena came to give us her unwavering support as my MIL passed. A lovely touch which confirmed we made the right choice.

My brother was ill a few weeks ago and I was pleased that Joanne contacted me straight away and kept me informed. When I visited she again spoke to me and dealt with any concerns I had.
My main support was away for 3 months so Joanne made sure that I was ok about everything and encouraged me to ask about anything if I was concerned.

Many thanks

My sister-in-law was very weak and very ill when she needed full-time nursing care. Eccleston Court was close, and after my initial inquiry, the manager called me directly to speak about her needs. The manager was very helpful indeed, and my sister-in-law was brought into nursing care within a couple of days.
During her stay, the warmth and comfort provided by Eccleston Court staff were exemplary. I was with my sister-in-law on and off every day, and I can state from my personal experience that the level of care is was the very highest.

(Please note that my rating for food and drink is based on casual observation of what was provided to other residents. I don't know from personal knowledge.)

All I can say is read all cqc reports and findings. The home is run with untrained staff, understaffed, this home is definitely a business and not a well maintained care home, this sadly reflects the staff and there training, and the capability to care for the residents properly

Dad arrived at Eccleston Court after four difficult months in and out of hospital and another care home. He arrived there for end-of-life care and we were touched by the kind and warm welcome we received from everyone. We were astonished at how well Dad was helped to settle in and flourish in a calm and peaceful environment for his last six weeks. Everyone we came into contact with was cheerful, caring and extraordinarily kind. Everyone was friendly and approachable. We found the management and nursing teams accessible, knowledgeable and a great support. We will never forget how much love and kindness we received during Dad's final hours and after his death and we will always be grateful.

My dad was a resident at Eccleston Court, although only for a short period before he passed away, the care that he received was exceptional. The carers and management always gave priority to dad's comfort and requirements. To get to the rooms you must pass through the residence lounge, the other residents always looked happy, content and safe.

I cannot thank all of the staff at Eccleston Court for the care they have given my aunt over the last 12 months. They form a real family bond with the residents, and the medical attention they gave her was outstanding. She was treated with dignity and respect, and the family was always involved with, and informed of any decisions for her. Once again thank you for everything.

My mum was at Eccleston Court for approximately 18 months, during this time my she was given a high level of dignity and respect whilst she was being cared for. She was always washed as well as wearing clean nighties and clothes when I went to visit, even on days when I was not expected. From when you entered reception and right up to management, the staff made you feel very welcome. There was a real family feel to the home. Any concerns were dealt with quickly, but I didn't have many during the time my mum was a resident there. During my mum's last week, I couldn't have asked for any more support from the staff. They gave us privacy to spend time with her but regularly checked in on us both. Mum was thoroughly cared for during that time and I can't thank them enough for what they did for us both.
