Obviously it takes time to get used to a client's situation - health, capabilities and understanding, especially when a client cannot speak. But all the staff understand our brother and communicate amazingly because eye contact and hearing enables the quality of care here given by the staff.

I feel I had to do something regarding Eccleston Court Nursing Home. I visited a friend for 10 years, she died and I carried on visiting. My mother developed dementia and lived in Widnes, but Eccleston Court was the best home around so I was lucky enough to get my mum in, she was here for 9 months and died. The care she received was the best. I still visit the home now and it's the best. I cannot understand the horrible things that are being said, I think it is disgusting.

Over many years I visited numerous care homes (visiting friends and family members) Eccleston Court ranked amongst the best, hence the reason for having no doubts about Mum being comfortable and treated with care and dignity for her remaining time. Whilst there (seven months) myself and my sister between us visited her every day, feeding her breakfast and lunch.

Spending so much time at the home, I feel that I am in a position to be of the opinion that Eccleston Court met all of the criteria we expected for our mum!

Overall Experience
My dad was in Eccleston Court for just over two weeks for respite. This was the first time he has been anywhere for respite and we, as a family are so happy with the whole experience Dad has had.
He was cared for and looked after so well, which helped my mum and all of us to relax, safe in the knowledge Dad was is expert hands.
The home is clean and well kept and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.
From the first interaction with the management team I knew we were in safe hands. They asked questions about Dad and encouraged us to bring photos, TV or radio for Dad to have in his room.
Each time any of us went to visit we were warmly greeted by everyone and felt very much part of a family.
I would recommend very, very highly.

Thank you to everyone for your superb service and wonderful attitude to these vulnerable adults and thanks for caring so much for our lovely dad.

Overall Experience
My mother-in-law was in need of end of life care. As a family, we were given a list of local care homes that offered the support that she required and we visited a number of them. Eccleston Court was the last home that we visited. Within minutes of being shown around the home, we knew that Eccleston Court was our first choice. It had a warm, homely feel and the residents that we saw all looked happy and well cared for.

She was accepted by the home and moved in within 36 hrs. Although her stay at Eccleston Court was sadly shorter then we had expected the care and compassion she received at all times from all members of staff was excellent and made a difficult time for our family a little easier.
