My father has settled well and is content and more engaged which is lovely to see. He is well looked after both personaly and medically and staff have taken the time to find out his likes and dislikes to settle him into good routines. The setting is perfect for him. Bright and airy with various areas
to sit in as well as outside in the gardens with hilarious chickens! There are plenty of activities for Dad to access which keeps his brain stimulated and he is more engaged with us all now. The staff are competent, ensuring he is comfortable and cared for, whilst keeping the atmosphere light and cheery and engaging with his sense of humour.

Allerton Park

Len in September 25 took himself in hopsital, saying he needed to go into care. His behaviour was very aggressive and he talked all the time about wanting to kill himself and he wanted me to help him. After weeks where he was moved between nursing homes and hospital, Allerton Park came and took him
into the nursing home. Within a few days, Len showed no aggressive or suicidal behaviour. I cannot thank the staff enough. It was a total turnaround. Obviously, he has some sort of dementia but they have made him calm and content. Thank you all.
Reply from Georgea Buckle, Operations Executive at Allerton ParkThank you for sharing your experience. We understand how difficult that time must have been, and we're so pleased to hear that Len is now calm and settled.

The staff at St. Catherine's go above and beyond when it comes to care, well being and the needs of the residents. My sister has been a resident in the Claremont Nursing Home for the past fifteen months. Her condition varies according to her moods, which sometimes can be testing for those looking after her. The staff are kind and cheerful and she is well looked after. The home is very clean and the meals are well
cooked and nicely presented. I am always made welcome when I visit and appreciate what a good job they all do.Thank you.

Great security at door, very welcoming and helpful in every way, explaining everything and offering further help if required. Mum has settled in very nicely due to the amazing staff looking after her. The building has many security points and staff run it well. Great job and glad Mum's in great hands.

Was a little apprehensive after reading the last review, but I can honestly say that my experience has been nothing but great. My gran is looked after and cared for really good. The improvement in her well-being even after a short time is noticeable. All staff are caring and happy. Management have been
visible and approachable and always make a point of welcoming me in the home. I have no concerns whatsoever. Rooms need updating but decorating has started.

The staff in Merse house have made a difficult time for us as family an easier transition than expected. The home is happy, comfortable, and a lovely selection of meals. The care my mother is receiving is excellent with all her needs being addressed and dealt with. Everyone is welcoming and all
seem to enjoy their work.
