Senior Care Assistant Days/ Nights- Required for Our Brand New Care Home Castle Lodge Care Home , Mere, Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: Days/ Nights 33 / 44  hours per week, working weekends on rota

The dedicated team offer round the clock support, making life enjoyable and comfortable for the residents.  Our beautiful home will offer residential and specialist dementia care in a peaceful setting, providing a safe, secure and rewarding lifestyle for those with a variety of needs.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
• Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
• Supporting residents at meals time
• Mentor & assist new employees.
• Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
• Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU
We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us to create the best person-centred environment for our residents. You'll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
• Have a friendly & caring attitude.
• Experience of administrating medication 
• Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
• Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
