Our newly opened care home in Derby, Kingsway View is seeking an Activities Assistant to join us on this exciting new journey. Providing residential, respite, dementia and nursing care, with 80 state-of-the-art rooms for residents to reside in, spacious dining and lounge areas, an on-site cafe?, floor-to-ceiling windows, and so much more, we are excited to be bringing this opportunity to Derby!

What you will receive as an Activities Assistant;

· £12.40 per hour

· Part-time, permanent contract

· 28 hours per week on a 6-weekly rolling rota

· 8.5-hour shifts, 9.30am-6pm, 3 on 3 off

· Derby-based with fantastic transport links - DE22 3ZB

What you will need to be successful as an Activities Assistant;

· Experience working within a caring environment

· Experience in planning, preparing and delivering activities to groups and individuals

· Fantastic written and verbal communication skills, with the natural ability to engage and include people from a diverse range of backgrounds

· A flexible but organised approach to managing your own workload.
