Rosewood Manor is an elegant 70-bed home situated in the idyllic market town of Market Harborough, purposefully built for its residents (equipped with its very own gin bar!). Providing residential and dementia care, the fabulous team are currently seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant. Allocated to one floor, you will be supporting and caring for the residents alongside supervising and inspiring all other team members.

What you will receive as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • £14.92 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota
  • 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8pm-8am
  • Based in Market Harborough, LE16 9BZ

What you will be doing as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • Assist residents with the activities of daily living and personal care
  • Supervise a team of carers, providing support and assistance where required
  • Act as a role model for other care staff in respect of day-to-day activities
  • Provide support at meal times
  • Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
  • Responsible for daily medication rounds, ensuring records are maintained
  • Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities

What you will need to be successful as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • Experience working within a caring environment
  • Hold or be willing to work towards L3 in Health and Social Care
  • The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
  • Willingness to develop new skills
