Ashmore Grange Care Home is seeking an an experienced Senior Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to residents and be a pivotal member of the team.
With 3 floors, running individually to ensure the real quality of care, you will be allocated to one of the floors to enable you to build those loving, professional relationships with residents and colleagues alike.
What you will receive as a Senior Care Assistant (Nights);
- £14.58 per hour
- Full-time, permanent contract
- 38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota
- 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8pm-8am
- Based in Lubbesthorpe
What you will be doing as a Senior Care Assistant;
- Assist residents with the activities of daily living and personal care
- Supervise a team of carers, providing support and assistance where required
- Act as a role model for other care staff in respect of day-to-day activities
- Provide support at meal times
- Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
- Responsible for daily medication rounds, ensuring records are maintained
- Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities

What you will need to be successful as a Senior Care Assistant;
- Experience of working within a caring environment
- Hold or be willing to work towards L3 in Health and Social Care
- The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcomed and comfortable
- Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
- Willingness to develop new skills
