What you will receive as Housekeeper ;
- £12.40 per hour
- Part-time, permanent contract
- 28.88 hours per week on a 6-weekly rolling rota
- 9 hour shifts, 8am-5pm, 3 on, 3 off
- Based in Burton-on-Trent
What you will be doing as Housekeeper ;
- Ensure all residents’ rooms are clean, tidy and laid out how each resident prefers
- Carrying out comprehensive cleaning including washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, dusting etc. in all communal areas of the home
- Clean and tidy all communal areas such as lounges, dining rooms, kitchens and bathrooms
- Wash, dry and iron residents’ clothes and households’ linen to a standard you would expect in your own home
- Putting away residents’ clothing, knowing how each resident likes to have this stored
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, knowing their likes/dislikes and how they like their homes to be cleaned and arranged

What you will need to be successful as a Housekeeper;
- Fantastic communication and organisation skills
- Able to manage workload, and time and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Understanding of COSHH & a commitment to infection and prevention control
- Basic sewing skills and the ability to use essential cleaning equipment
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
