Trinity Care Home has had the most amazing impact on our family. When I leave my nan, I feel happy knowing she's safe and surrounded by such caring people. The staff truly can't do enough - it feels like one big family. Shay has been incredible, always keeping her calm and understanding what she needs.
Everything
is adapted to the individual - I even had dinner in bed with my nan one day because that's what encouraged her to eat. The team always remember our names, which means so much. It's spotless, modern and honestly feels more like a five-star hotel than a care home.
They've gone above and beyond to make sure my nan still enjoys church and singing. We're so grateful.

Reading your kind words means the world to us. It is a privilege to care for your nan, and we're delighted to know that you leave each visit with peace of mind, knowing she is safe, happy, and well cared for.
Shay will be incredibly proud to receive your recognition. I will be sure to share your lovely comments with her and the rest of the team.
Thank you for placing your trust in us. It is an honour to care for your nan, and we look forward to continuing to support all of you.

I moved my mother to Trinity Court Care Home in Burton in February 2026 so she could be nearer to me. I have been impressed with the care provided by the dedicated staff. The facilities are excellent and her room is first class. The staff have encouraged my mother to take part in daily activities which
helps her condition. I am extremely happy with her level of care.

Dad has Parkinson's and unable to walk. He was struggling at home and the decision to move into residential care was made in April this year. Trinity care home is like a luxury hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean and have amazing views over the river. Dad needs lots of brain stimulation and
the activities that are run by Elaine are so good. There's so much going on everyday and she goes above and beyond with the activities. She listens to the residents abc will adapt to their needs. The care team are amazing too. They really go above and beyond to make sure the residents are looked after well and comfortable. It's really like an extended family for dad. He's had no regrets moving in there and it's just total piece of mind that's he's being so well looked after.
Reply from Amanda Jelbert, General manager at Trinity Court Care HomeThank you so much for your lovely feedback and for sharing your family's experience with us.
We are delighted that your dad has settled in so well and feels part of the Trinity Court family.
Elaine and the activities team work incredibly hard to ensure residents are engaged, stimulated and supported in ways that are meaningful to them personally, so your kind comments will mean so much to her. Your praise for our care team is also greatly appreciated, and we are proud to know that their compassion and dedication have made such a positive difference.
Thank you again for taking the time to leave such thoughtful feedback. It is a privilege to care for your dad and support your family.

All the staff are caring and obliging. My mother seems so happy since she's been here and the staff can't do enough for her. The activities are excellent and its nice to see the residents joining in. The place is so quiet and relaxing even for the visitors and I can't thank all the staff enough for
taking a load of my shoulders.

From the moment my grandma moved in, it was clear this is not just a care home but a real family. Every single member of staff treats her with kindness, dignity and genuine affection. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is not only cared for, but truly loved and valued as a person. The atmosphere
feels warm, supportive and homely, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. They take the time to get to know residents properly, and it really shows in everything they do. As a family, we feel listened to, reassured and supported, and I honestly couldn't wish for a better place for my grandma. Thank you for making her feel safe, happy and so well cared for every single day.

Mum joined the trinity community at the beginning of March. The team have worked with mum to regain her confidence and independence and she has taken part with the activities put on each day. I can honestly say the love, care and attention she has received from the staff have been wonderful. They
have given us the peace of mind that she will be safe, well and happy. For me as a daughter the staff have been supportive to help me navigate this next stage of mums life and can't thank them enough.

My Mum went to Trinity Court for respite following a fall resulting in a fracture to her ankle. She was apprehensive about going into a care home for respite, but her worries soon disappeared as soon as she entered through the door. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for her throughout
her stay. The facilities are perfect and everywhere was accessible to her in her electric wheelchair. Each day there were different activities happening and a good variety to keep things interesting. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her stay at Trinity Court and I believe this helped her recovery. As family members visiting, we were also made to feel extremely welcome at all times.

We understand how daunting it can be coming into a care home for the first time, so its truly reassuring to hear that your Mum felt quickly at ease and supported by our team. We wish her well for her future and look forward to seeing her soon for her holiday. Amanda

When my mum left her previous home and started at trinity court she was in a bad way mentally, very anxious and wanting to escape from her old home every day. I have told mum that this is a hotel, as that is what it feels like. The furnishing, bedrooms, and main areas are fantastic, she doesn't need
to feel like she is in a care home.
The staff are on another level, so caring and understanding to her needs, they take her mind of things and entertain her, so she never feels or wants to go anywhere else. My mum loves to sing, so they make sure that everyday she does what she love to do.
I can't thank them enough for the care and enjoyment they give mum, which makes me feel happy knowing that she is in Trinity Court.
Reply from Amanda Jelbert, General manager at Trinity Court Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a lot to our whole team to hear how positive your mum's experience has been at Trinity Court.
We understand how difficult a transition into a new home can be, especially when someone has been feeling anxious, so it's wonderful to know that your mum now feels comfortable, happy and settled with us.
Our team work incredibly hard to make sure every resident feels valued, supported and able to enjoy the things they love. Knowing that your mum is enjoying singing every day and taking part in activities she loves is exactly why we do what we do.
Thank you again for trusting us with your mum's care and for taking the time to share your experience. Your feedback means a great deal to us and to the team who support your mum every day.
Kind regards Amanda

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.391)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.391) out of 10 for Trinity Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Trinity Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (120 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 120 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.391 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Trinity Court Care Home is based on 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.75
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 78 registered maximum number of service users is 15.6. 10 Positive Reviews ÷ 15.6 = 0.641
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
