I can't speak highly enough of the care my much loved sister received whilst at Kingsway View. The love & care given to her by her Kingsway View 'family' during her 3+ years there has been exceptional. Everyone is always so welcoming that it makes us feel part of that family too.
Mixed dementia
is a highly challenging illness to deal with at times but management & care staff alike are always cheerful & have done everything they could to make my sister happy, clean & comfortable. It is hard to leave someone you love in the care of others but the last couple of years in particular showed that we made the right choice.
For those wishing to take part there is always something to do. Lots of entertainment & music. Bringing in living creatures is a lovely touch. I never thought that I would see my sister holding a lizard.
Thank you so very much to everyone involved in my sisters care. We are lucky to have known such lovely people.

Mum joined the trinity community at the beginning of March. The team have worked with mum to regain her confidence and independence and she has taken part with the activities put on each day. I can honestly say the love, care and attention she has received from the staff have been wonderful. They
have given us the peace of mind that she will be safe, well and happy. For me as a daughter the staff have been supportive to help me navigate this next stage of mums life and can't thank them enough.
Reply from Amanda Jelbert, General manager at Trinity Court Care HomeThank you so much for your kind wordsit really means a lot to the whole team.
Were so pleased your mum has settled in well and is enjoying her time with us. Supporting both our residents and their families is incredibly important, and were glad weve been able to provide reassurance during this transition.
Ill be sure to share your lovely feedback with the team. Thank you again for your trust.

After a traumatic fall which badly affected my mother's mobility and confidence leaving her unable to live independently I selected Kingsway View as the care home that would fulfil her needs. The staff were very welcoming and allowed her to select the room she wanted as well as encouraging her to bring
pictures and ornaments to surround herself with familiar objects to make it feel more like home.
The facilities are excellent with lots of activities and entertainment to break up the day. The food is excellent with my mother's only complaint being there's too much of it. Tea at three on a Wednesday afternoon is a particular delight with homemade sandwiches and cakes served on the best china for both residents and family to enjoy!
Pets are encouraged to visit as well and my mother's dog Oscar is made especially welcome and looks forward to his doggy treats kept at reception.
I know it will never be the same as her home for her, but she is kept safe and well in 5 star luxury

The staff at Acorn House were very friendly but proffesional from the moment we arrived. They took care of Mum like she was one of their own. Mum was taken out on several escorted trips that she enjoyed immensely. The food was good and they would always make her a cup of tea when she wanted one. I can't

My Mum went to Trinity Court for respite following a fall resulting in a fracture to her ankle. She was apprehensive about going into a care home for respite, but her worries soon disappeared as soon as she entered through the door. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for her throughout
her stay. The facilities are perfect and everywhere was accessible to her in her electric wheelchair. Each day there were different activities happening and a good variety to keep things interesting. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her stay at Trinity Court and I believe this helped her recovery. As family members visiting, we were also made to feel extremely welcome at all times.
Reply from Amanda Jelbert, General manager at Trinity Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback about your mums stay at Trinity Court.
We understand how daunting it can be coming into a care home for the first time, so its truly reassuring to hear that your Mum felt quickly at ease and supported by our team. We wish her well for her future and look forward to seeing her soon for her holiday. Amanda

I very rarely write reviews however I was compelled to do so in praise of this care home. From the staff on reception to the management and the catering staff, everyone takes pride in making sure my father gets the very best possible care. It's the hardest decision in the world to put a parent in care
and it was very upsetting, however I know he will always be cared for to the highest standard at Kingsfield Court. From the activities to the food (although he doesn't like custard!) to the staff members, I can leave after visiting him with a happy heart, knowing he is in caring, friendly and safe hands. Thanks to all the staff there - keep up the excellent work.

Mum was moved to end of life and the cost of continuing care in her own home became impossible. Kingsfield Court was the perfect homely solution. Everyone from the first contact to the last was kind, considerate and compassionate. It was the only care home I have entered that smelt completely clean-
no lingering smell of ammonia or overpowering air fresheners that I had experienced elsewhere. After assessment the team got mum in really quickly. We were given a choice, and found mum the perfect room with calming green coloured walls and a tree that was full of bird life outside her window. She was able to bring in furniture and pictures and things to make it homely. She settled right in and even got involved in the activities. The carers clearly all genuinely get on with each other and know every resident so well. The care was exceptional. We were with mum when she passed and the staff were lovely. If she had wanted to move earlier she could have enjoyed it when she was well enough.

When my mum left her previous home and started at trinity court she was in a bad way mentally, very anxious and wanting to escape from her old home every day. I have told mum that this is a hotel, as that is what it feels like. The furnishing, bedrooms, and main areas are fantastic, she doesn't need
to feel like she is in a care home.
The staff are on another level, so caring and understanding to her needs, they take her mind of things and entertain her, so she never feels or wants to go anywhere else. My mum loves to sing, so they make sure that everyday she does what she love to do.
I can't thank them enough for the care and enjoyment they give mum, which makes me feel happy knowing that she is in Trinity Court.
Reply from Amanda Jelbert, General manager at Trinity Court Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a lot to our whole team to hear how positive your mum's experience has been at Trinity Court.
We understand how difficult a transition into a new home can be, especially when someone has been feeling anxious, so it's wonderful to know that your mum now feels comfortable, happy and settled with us.
Our team work incredibly hard to make sure every resident feels valued, supported and able to enjoy the things they love. Knowing that your mum is enjoying singing every day and taking part in activities she loves is exactly why we do what we do.
Thank you again for trusting us with your mum's care and for taking the time to share your experience. Your feedback means a great deal to us and to the team who support your mum every day.

My aunty has been a resident at Goldwell Manor for the last 9 months. She had been moved twice from care homes because of closure and as you can imagine she just would not settle or mix with other residents. However with much coaching and care given by all the staff who are absolutely amazing she is
joining in everything and that beautiful smile has returned. We cannot thank the manager and all her staff for what they are doing, always a smile and hello from everyone. Goldwell is just an amazing place I would recommend to anyone.

We have been searching for a suitable home for my 96 year old mother for some time, and saw this community being constructed last year. It is purpose built, and not just a converted large house. It's very well designed! The first and most important thing we noticed was the smiles and helpfulness of
the staff. We highly recommend Regency Manor.

Mum moved to Goldwell Manor, in June 2025 when the council run home she was in, was repurposed. She has struggled to accept that she needs support, from having carers in her home and then needing residential care. She is a fiercely independent lady and it really upset her, that she needed help.
The
first few weeks at Goldwell were rocky, she wouldnt eat or socialise, but then she moved to a different floor which suited her needs better. She then began to flourish and settle. She has improved so much, its lovely to see. Goldwell Manor has a lovely atmosphere, is spotlessly clean and is decorated beautifully. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff from ALL departments, seem to genuinely care about their residents. Everyone is approachable. I now feel that I can relax a little, knowing that my Mum is settled and joining in. The place is credit to manager Karen and her team. Based on my experience, I recommend Goldwell Manor to anyone seeking residential care for their loved one
Reply from Eleanor Middleton, Front of House manager at Goldwell ManorThank you for your glowing review of us here at Goldwell Manor. We always strive to provide the very best in person-centred care, so it truly means a great deal to receive such positive feedback.
It is always lovely to see your mum, whether she is sitting in the hallway enjoying a cuppa or in the reception area greeting us with her lovely smile. It's wonderful to see how well she has settled in on her chosen floor.

Goldwell Manor is a caring and safe community. The friendly staff are long term and you see the same faces daily. I have seen first hand how kind and respectful they are towards my mother in law. When you visit you are included in the Goldwell family and you are made to feel very welcome.
My mother
in law has established a new routine and is generally comfortable and happy. I'm impressed with how much effort is made to get to know my mother in law. Communication from the home is appropriate and immediate when it needs to be.
It was a difficult decision to put my mother in law in a home but since the first day we have never questioned that decision.
One piece of advice - label the clothes!!

From our very first email with Sarah before their doors opened, I have been beyond impressed with everyone at Regency Manor. Mum moved in in July 2025 and it was like moving into a 5-star hotel. She instantly felt safe and happy, and we were very happy with her room and all the facilities. Mum has dementia
so there are good days and bad days but all the staff invest in getting to know Mum (and all the residents) and we know she is so well looked after every day. The staff have been so helpful in listening to mum's dietary needs/likes/dislikes and making sure she eats well, as well as including her in all the activities and even making sure there are flowers and plants in the garden outside her room. If Mum needs anything, we only have to ask and it gets done. And family and friends visiting are always given the warmest of welcomes. It gives me great comfort knowing mum is safe and well here.
