Goldwell Manor

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My aunty has been a resident at Goldwell Manor for the last 9 months. She had been moved twice from care homes because of closure and as you can imagine she just would not settle or mix with other residents. However with much coaching and care given by all the staff who are absolutely amazing she is
joining in everything and that beautiful smile has returned. We cannot thank the manager and all her staff for what they are doing, always a smile and hello from everyone. Goldwell is just an amazing place I would recommend to anyone.
Reply from Eleanor Middleton, Front of House manager at Goldwell ManorThank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback about Goldwell Manor. It truly means a great deal to us to hear personal stories and to know that we have been able to make a positive difference in someone's journey.
At Goldwell, we are deeply committed to providing person-centred care, always striving to ensure that every resident feels valued, comfortable, and happy during their time with us. Hearing that we've achieved this is incredibly rewarding for our whole team.

We have been searching for a suitable home for my 96 year old mother for some time, and saw this community being constructed last year. It is purpose built, and not just a converted large house. It's very well designed! The first and most important thing we noticed was the smiles and helpfulness of
the staff. We highly recommend Regency Manor.
Reply from Becky Macey, Manager at Regency Manor Care HomeThank you for this review, we value the feedback and our team are very proud of the community we have created. Mum has settled so well into Regency Manor and enjoys the company it has given her being around others.

Goldwell Manor

Mum moved to Goldwell Manor, in June 2025 when the council run home she was in, was repurposed. She has struggled to accept that she needs support, from having carers in her home and then needing residential care. She is a fiercely independent lady and it really upset her, that she needed help.
The
first few weeks at Goldwell were rocky, she wouldnt eat or socialise, but then she moved to a different floor which suited her needs better. She then began to flourish and settle. She has improved so much, its lovely to see. Goldwell Manor has a lovely atmosphere, is spotlessly clean and is decorated beautifully. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff from ALL departments, seem to genuinely care about their residents. Everyone is approachable. I now feel that I can relax a little, knowing that my Mum is settled and joining in. The place is credit to manager Karen and her team. Based on my experience, I recommend Goldwell Manor to anyone seeking residential care for their loved one
Reply from Eleanor Middleton, Front of House manager at Goldwell ManorThank you for your glowing review of us here at Goldwell Manor. We always strive to provide the very best in person-centred care, so it truly means a great deal to receive such positive feedback.
It is always lovely to see your mum, whether she is sitting in the hallway enjoying a cuppa or in the reception area greeting us with her lovely smile. It's wonderful to see how well she has settled in on her chosen floor.
We will certainly pass your kind comments on to the team, who will be delighted to hear them

Goldwell Manor is a caring and safe community. The friendly staff are long term and you see the same faces daily. I have seen first hand how kind and respectful they are towards my mother in law. When you visit you are included in the Goldwell family and you are made to feel very welcome.
My mother
in law has established a new routine and is generally comfortable and happy. I'm impressed with how much effort is made to get to know my mother in law. Communication from the home is appropriate and immediate when it needs to be.
It was a difficult decision to put my mother in law in a home but since the first day we have never questioned that decision.
One piece of advice - label the clothes!!
Reply from Eleanor Middleton, Front of House manager at Goldwell ManorThank you so much for your kind review of Goldwell Manor. We're delighted to hear that your mother-in-law has settled in well with us.
We truly value getting to know each of our residents as individuals and are committed to providing person-centred care tailored to their unique needs and preferences. It's also very important to us that residents' loved ones feel welcomed and part of the Goldwell family.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback - it will certainly be passed on to the team.

From our very first email with Sarah before their doors opened, I have been beyond impressed with everyone at Regency Manor. Mum moved in in July 2025 and it was like moving into a 5-star hotel. She instantly felt safe and happy, and we were very happy with her room and all the facilities. Mum has dementia
so there are good days and bad days but all the staff invest in getting to know Mum (and all the residents) and we know she is so well looked after every day. The staff have been so helpful in listening to mum's dietary needs/likes/dislikes and making sure she eats well, as well as including her in all the activities and even making sure there are flowers and plants in the garden outside her room. If Mum needs anything, we only have to ask and it gets done. And family and friends visiting are always given the warmest of welcomes. It gives me great comfort knowing mum is safe and well here.
Reply from Becky Macey, Manager at Regency Manor Care HomeThank you for your feedback, we are pleased mum is happy, settled and receives the personalised care she deserves.

My Dad moved into Rosewood Manor in July 2023. He was very happy there. He always spoke fondly of all the staff that cared for him. It was very clear to me when I visited that they were just as fond of him. Sadly he passed away just before Christmas 2025, I had the good fortune of being with my Dad
during his final hours and the staff were so supportive towards me, they found me somewhere to rest my head and checked in on me around the clock. The team were amazing, caring, nothing was too much trouble and my Dad loved it there. There was always lots of entertainment going on (we enjoyed this together) something to suit everyone. A complete holistic approach. Thank you for all that you did for my Dad, you all do a fantastic job.
Reply from Amanda Withers, Front of House Manager at Rosewood ManorThank you so much for your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to have Dad with us here at Rosewood. Words are not enough to describe the excellence of Regency Manor Care Home, Hunstanton. I couldn't wish for better care home for my sister. Its always a happy place, clean, fresh, warm and inviting. The staff always have time to give you a rundown of your loved one. The food is second to none and its

Mum moved to Ashmore Grange in December 2025 as her physical and mental health have deteriorated due to her Alzheimer's, which is a cruel disease. Mum has been challenging, but all the staff have been kind, supportive and caring to mum, and she's being treated with dignity and respect.
The care home
is warm, clean, and feels like a hotel. The rooms are lovely, spacious and well furnished. The staff go above and beyond, caring for mum and contact the GP and healthcare professionals regularly to keep on top of mum's changing health needs, due to her dementia.
Ashmore Grange is an excellent care home with compassionate staff, which I would definitely recommend.

My aunt chose to move to Rosewood Manor after having two bad falls. She wanted to know that there was someone available for help 24/7. She lived there for just over 2 years and was very content with her life there. She enjoyed most of the food and joined in the activities when she wanted to. The staff
