My Mum and my Aunt were finding it a struggle living at home with carers coming in daily. After they had a bad viral infection I thought they would be better in care and decided upon Goldwell Manor. From the very start every member of the staff has been welcoming and helpful. It has taken the ladies some time to settle in as they are not natural mixers but with lots of gentle help from the staff they are now extremely comfortable. they have lovely accommodation which is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard! They enjoy all their food, the activities they go to they thoroughly enjoy. Thank you to all the staff at Goldwell Manor for giving me peace of mind by caring for my Mum and Aunt so well

Staff always very helpful. My Grandma always seems happy, clean and cared for. The food is good, and activities. The overall is very good.

Our family cannot thank the team here enough for the incredible care and kindness they show my mum every day. Deciding on a care home is never easy, but from the moment she arrived, we knew we made the right choice. The staff treat her with genuine warmth, dignity and respect. It truly feels like a second family rather than a facility. The environment is peaceful, immaculately clean, and welcoming. Absolutely Outstanding Care Home. I cannot praise this care home and its wonderful staff highly enough. The level of care, kindness and compassion they show my mum is truly exceptional. They genuinely go above and beyond to make sure she is happy, comfortable and well cared for. There is always so much thought put into making life enjoyable, with a fantastic range of activities, entertainment and things for the residents to get involved in. It is lovely to see how much effort the staff put into creating a warm, happy and stimulating environment. What really stands out is how personal the care is. The staff know my mum, know me and always make us feel welcome. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble and I have complete confidence that Mum is treated with genuine care and respect. Knowing that someone you love is being looked after is priceless and the team here give us that reassurance every day. An absolutely amazing care home with an incredible team.

I've been here for 3 years and it has been most enjoyable, lots of training for the staff, keeping them in top form, well done.

After an extended period in hospital it sadly became obvious mum would not be able to return home to independent living and would need residential care. After visiting a few places it was a no brainer that Goldwell was the only place mum could be. It is quite simply brilliant. Clean, roomy, great staff, everyone friendly, loads of activities. We honestly cannot praise the place enough. Obviously we would rather mum not be here, but given the circumstances there is nowhere we would rather mum be.

A very well run home with lovely decor but more importantly the standard of care and the importance of residents dignity is excellent. My sister feels respected and very comfortable. The friendly relaxed atmosphere is generated by the committed staff and management and responsibilities well defined. All in all a very impressive place.

I find this home very clean, the staff are very helpful and I am sure this is the best home I have ever been in.

Mum spent the final two years of her life in Kingsway View. She was very happy there and she was always treated with great care and respect. She died in April 2026 and, in line with her wishes, her last few weeks were at the Home, looked after by wonderful staff who made the end of her life peaceful and dignified.

Thank you so very much to everyone involved in my sisters care. We are lucky to have known such lovely people.

My sister has been at Kingsway View for 3 months now and I cannot fault the care she receives. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, she is well looked after and is happy there. Activities and entertainment are excellent and we as a family are always made to feel very welcome.

My aunty has been a resident at Goldwell Manor for the last 9 months. She had been moved twice from care homes because of closure and as you can imagine she just would not settle or mix with other residents. However with much coaching and care given by all the staff who are absolutely amazing she is joining in everything and that beautiful smile has returned. We cannot thank the manager and all her staff for what they are doing, always a smile and hello from everyone. Goldwell is just an amazing place I would recommend to anyone.

I came to Kingsway View when my family were away on holiday. Found that Kingsway fitted my needs and decided to stay.

The first few weeks at Goldwell were rocky, she wouldnt eat or socialise, but then she moved to a different floor which suited her needs better. She then began to flourish and settle. She has improved so much, its lovely to see. Goldwell Manor has a lovely atmosphere, is spotlessly clean and is decorated beautifully. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff from ALL departments, seem to genuinely care about their residents. Everyone is approachable. I now feel that I can relax a little, knowing that my Mum is settled and joining in. The place is credit to manager Karen and her team. Based on my experience, I recommend Goldwell Manor to anyone seeking residential care for their loved one

One piece of advice - label the clothes!!

Goldwell Manor is the most wonderful place. My mum loves it there. The activities are great and Mum loves to take part.

Absolutely 5 5-star experience. If you need anything, you press your buzzer, and within 30 seconds staff are in your room to ask what you need.

Mum has been at Kingsway View for 3 months and the care she has received has been excellent. The care staff and very supportive for mum and family. We are always made to feel very welcome when visiting mum. The entertainment provided is excellent and very enjoyable for residents and families.

I can't praise this care home highly enough, the staff go above and beyond every single day . My brother is treated with dignity,respect and compassion. Knowing he is in safe hands brings so much peace of mind .They understand his needs to make sure he feels comfortable, supported and valued. The team keep me updated and involve me in his care . I couldn't ask for a better place for him .
