The Oaks Care Home is a friendly, supportive environment for 33 residents with varying levels of dementia. We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants who are passionate about enriching the lives of the elderly and contributing to a positive, community-focused home.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be crucial to delivering the highest standards of daily care:

· Providing hands-on personal care with dignity and respect.

· Assisting residents with meals and hydration.

· Supporting residents during visits from healthcare professionals.

· Creating a Quality Life: Leading community outings and developing meaningful in-home experiences.

· Ensuring meticulous record-keeping using our computerised reporting system.

· Medication Management: Administering medication as prescribed, accurately and safely, following all procedural guidelines.

· Care Planning: Contributing to, implementing, and updating resident care plans in collaboration with the management team.

· Leadership and Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to junior Care Assistants, delegating tasks appropriately, and overseeing shifts as required.

· Communication: Acting as a key point of contact for residents' families and external healthcare professionals, providing updates and coordinating care.
