Job summary
Endeavour is a small home which caters for 20 individuals, we are looking for a part time cook to join the existing team.
Lead Responsibilities: To prepare and serve attractively presented, nutritious and varied meals to the residents in accordance with the menu. having due regard for their dietary requirement and personal preference.
To ensure that food is served is as specified on the menu
To ensure stock rotation is maintained
Assist with Menu planning
To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and hygienic at all times and that all equipment is maintained in clean, safe and serviceable condition, in accordance with guidelines.
To participate in extra kitchen duties as requested by the manager or proprietor.
To have knowledge of COSHH regulations
Follow the Safer Food Better Business for food safety guidance
Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong team spirit
- Attention to detail
- Experience preferred in a similar environment
- Good communication skills
- Flexible working pattern which will include weekend working and covering sickness and annual leave.
- Knowledge of food hygiene
