Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 28 hours per week
Working Pattern: 4 days per week on a rolling rota
Shifts: 07:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 21:00
Rota: Includes every other weekend

Danygraig Care Home is looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive day team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a welcoming care home where you will build meaningful relationships with residents and make a genuine difference in their daily lives.
If you have care experience but do not yet hold an NVQ or Social Care Wales registration, we can support you to achieve these once you join the team.

Danygraig is a 48-bed residential care home supporting adults living with dementia and mental health needs. Set in a beautiful coastal location, our home provides a calm, respectful environment where residents feel valued and staff work together to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities
- Assisting with meals, drinks and nutrition
- Offering companionship and emotional reassurance
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent care
What We’re Looking For
? Previous experience in a care setting preferred
? NVQ/QCF
Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work
towards
? Registered with Social Care Wales or willing to
register
? Caring, patient, and reliable approach
? Good
communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
