The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and dedicated Laundry / Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards across our nursing home. You’ll ensure laundry is handled with care and that resident areas remain clean, tidy and welcoming.
What You’ll Do
- Sort, wash, dry, fold and iron resident clothing and linens.
- Clean resident rooms, communal areas and staff facilities.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain sanitation standards.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning and laundry supplies.
- Work efficiently to uphold daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Additional Information
- This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
- Other duties may be required in line with the position.
- Quality and cleanliness standards will be regularly monitored and reviewed.
Skills / Qualifications:
- What We’re Looking For Experience in housekeeping or laundry (healthcare or hospitality preferred). Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe equipment use. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high hygiene standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Respectful
