About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting them with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting

• Supporting residents with mobility and safe moving and handling

• Helping with meal preparation and feeding where required

• Monitoring and recording residents’ health and wellbeing

• Providing emotional support and companionship

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential

• A caring, patient, and respectful attitude

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn and undertake training

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
