We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of senior care, particularly in areas such as dementia care. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
• Supervise and support staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive atmosphere for both residents and staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
• Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care services.
• Ensure that the home is compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in home care.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a home care or nursing home setting.
• Strong knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Ability to create comprehensive care plans based on individual resident needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A background in nursing or relevant qualifications in health and social care is preferred but not essential.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to all residents.
