Kitchen Assistant

Job summary

We are looking for someone to work on average 30 hours per week in a busy kitchen. You will work in a small team of kitchen assistants helping with breakfast, Lunch and Tea. You will be working alongside a cook. You will go round the care home offering drinks and snacks throughout the day. You will be supporting the other kitchen assistants and cook to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen. The working hours are worked on a shift basis on a rota so shifts will change regularly. The shifts are 07:30am until 12.30pm and 12.30pm until 18.30pm. Applicants need to be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness. You will be expected to work every other weekend. Staff need to be available over bank holidays which is also paid at an enhanced rate.
