Job summary

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our care home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering a wide range of engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our residents.

• Position: Activities Coordinator
• Location: Elm House care home - Pillory Street - Nantwich
• Contract: 40 hour position
• Schedule: To be discussed at interview
• Salary: £12.71 per hour
• Right to Work: Sponsorship is not available for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a varied activities program tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Encourage participation and create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Work closely with care staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans.
• Organize special events, outings, and seasonal celebrations.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident engagement.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage residents.
• Creative thinking and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with older adults is desirable.
