About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll do more than tidy rooms – you’ll
help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where residents
feel comfortable, relaxed, and respected. From fresh linens to
spotless lounges, your work will bring comfort to our residents and
peace of mind to their families. Every shift, you’ll help make our
home a better place to live and a nicer place to work.
What We’re Looking For
You may have previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning
roles, but your attitude is what counts most. You are reliable,
thorough, and take pride in a job well done. You understand the
importance of cleanliness and hygiene, especially in a care setting,
and you are happy working as part of a team.
About You
You are approachable, considerate, and have a strong work ethic
with an eye for detail. You notice when something needs doing and get
it sorted without fuss. You take pride in supporting the wellbeing of
others through the environment you maintain.
Location
Guthrie House Care Home is located in Edinburgh’s Liberton area
and provides nursing care for up to 88 residents.
